Microcurrent stimulation in the treatment of dry AMD
I am grateful from a patient who sent me this clip from the newspaper about this interesting line of research.
There was a research project looking at 17 Patients with this type of device that provides small electrical charges
around the eye in the form of an eye mask. Positive results were achieved for those with Dry Macular degeneration.

A Canadian company is now marketing/more research called The Eye Machine.
This is early days but just one of many lines of research that is going on.
